Well its been 2 years since I started on the road to Linux Lounge. Since then we have made some progress

It's been decided that we have to get the whole project on the road by April 2012, with help from other organisations who will be responsible for supporting their subject.

Well its time to TWEET. We need to rustle the branches and get folk flying to L L to perch on the branches we cover. The idea is that John will look after the bus and common services plus the running of the servery on the lower deck. The upper deck will have the servers hosting files owned by the various groups dedicated to each topic or application. Each group would supply a person to help present the topic/application to LL visitors.

Furthering our green credentials we are now the proud owners of an electric car, a Kewet El Jet 2 to give it its full title. This is one of the first successful EV’s our example dating from 1992. It is in a reasonable condition but we are looking at replacing the lead acid batteries. Along with this we need to look at new types of motors (AC ver DC) and controllers. Yep we have a bit to learn, will keep you posted.
